Made from food grade PTFE Teflon® this 1.5" Tri Clover gasket is excellent for high temperature locations such as where a connection will exist in the heat wash of a burner.  Because it is a relatively hard gasket it is the gasket of choice where you want the two fittings to be able to rotate on each other such as a rotating racking arm.  If you need the gasket to live in a high-heat environment but don't need the parts to rotate, get the silicone tri clover gasket version.
