1.5" Tri Clover Compatible Tri Clamp Ball Valve- Quick Clean. Clamped together.
This 1.5" Tri Clover Compatible Tri Clamp Ball has a great design where it is clamped together rather than threaded together for quick disassembly for cleaning. This is a pretty cool valve and featured on our brew systems.

Brian PierceOct 12, 2017, 08:04We use a few of these valves in our brew house. You can't beat how easy they are to pop apart and clean. Compared to other, much more clumsy designs on the market (looking at you Blichman), these are the best!

ScottMay 31, 2017, 10:13TL;DR - It's not perfect, but I am pleased with this valve's performance. Full review: The valve body does disassemble very quickly, though the handle is a bit more of a challenge. However, the handle does *not* need to be taken apart for the valve to be cleaned (something I should have realized before taking it apart). The reason I am giving this 4/5 stars is because the passage through the ball is just slightly smaller than 1.5" which causes liquid to remain in the tube to which it is attached.
A neutral point which I include as a caution: while the valve is partially open, some liquid/particles can get outside of the ball, basically between the ball and the body of the valve. This is a result of the quick clean design and part of the "can't have your cake and eat it too" adage. This means that after each use, one should always take the valve apart to clean it, not just run a brush through the open valve. Thankfully, the design also means that this process is incredibly easy. -
