If you have ever purchased anything from Brewers Hardware this is the same high quality part that you have purchased before. I don't think anyone makes then better. Even the nut faces have been machined to allow the o ring a place to sit. One thing that the description lacks is that there are no threads on the inside of the kettle or fermenter that you are installing it into, since there is an O ring on the inside face of the thermowell. Making this the only sanitary weldless thermowell I have seen available to buy, Perfect for a fermenter. It will last a life time and looks tough enough to take a strike from a mash paddle. Hand tight is all that I need to have a leakless seal.

I was amazed at how beautiful this thermowell is! It feels solid and heavy, threads perfectly and is well thought out (machined so the o-rings sit in place). Fits perfectly into my Blichmann pot. Highly recommended.
