Made to clamp around the body of our 1.5" Trub Strainer. It has 5/8" stand off that is threaded to accept a 12mm bolt (available below) or it can be welded to your stand. At just over 1" wide is offers plenty of support for the heavy strainer. Made from stainless

    Useful for the wort strainer.

    BUT, using an impossible to find (locally, in stainless) thread size for mounting is lame. Actually, beyond lame. IF it had simply been 1/2" coarse thread, I could have picked up a bolt from my local True Value store (~3 miles from me). I ended up having to get a black oxide treated bolt to get this mounted. So either make this SAE thread for those of us in America, or offer the bolts to mount this with (at a reasonable price).

    Yes, I could get form Fastenal. But the local stores didn't have it, so shipping would be involved driving the cost far too high for a single bolt (3/4" long because F metric).

    Hi Adam,

    Sorry for the hassle with the bolts. We do carry 12mm bolts to use with the mounting bracket in a few different sizes and priced from $1.20 - $2.00 but I understand it can be hard to find locally. It looks like the listing didn't really mention we sold bolts separately so we updated it with your feedback so hopefully more people can see we carry bolts, washers, and nuts. Thanks!
