Thought this pump would be alot more powerful than my 7 gal March 815 but I was wrong. Barely spins the spray ball. Guess I'm going to have to buy another pump and wait again. Got sent the wrong pump the first time and finally get this in and wired up and now this... Not happy!! Pure junk!!

I have 4 of these pumps that get used nearly every day. Like them so much that I bought 2 of the new models with welded on Tri-Clamp fittings. Much to my disappointment, one of the pumps has a large rusty patch on the inside of the outlet connection. Terrible welding of this particular fitting, but the other unit is fine. Also, the inlet on this "Tri-Clamp" model is not a 1.5" TC ferrule. It is actually a Garolla fitting. They are very close in size, but it is NOT 1.5" TC and should not be advertised as such. The TC gasket doesn't fit perfectly, but it's close enough that it can be squeezed to work.

Hi David. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. For a few years we have been converting NPT Chugger pumps into Tri Clamp Heads by welding them in house. Chugger recently started selling Tri Clamp versions of their pumps directly which aren't welded but molded instead. We just started carrying these so they are new to us as well but just opened one up and you are definitely right that the outlet is not a Tri Clamp fitting as it is advertised on their website. It appears to just be an issue with the Tri Clamp Max Pumps. We have disabled the listing for the time being until Chugger offers us a solution and will reach out to you via email.
